CEO of Hella Choke Records

One of DJ Cheez Wiz’s earliest memories was seeing the letters RUN DMC which ignited a lifetime of admiration for Rap and Hip Hop music. DJ Cheez Wiz grew up in the Northern Bay Area region and was an avid skateboarder, hip hop DJ, breakdancer and started to become a lyrically known and respected DJ and MC representing the San Francisco Bay Area. He followed his brothers footsteps who was a dancer for TLC and many other famous hip hop artists and exposed young Cheez Wiz to the Hip Hop culture and lifestyle. DJ Cheez Wiz went on to a brief acting career in hollywood having parts in movies like “Princess Diares” with Anne Hathaway.

DJ Cheez Wiz is of filipino descent and is first generation born in the United States and is proud of his heritage. Having traveled the world and lived in Italy, DJ Cheez decided to settle in Oahu Hawaii where he started Manana Skateboards and Hella Choke Records. Since starting Hella Choke Records, DJ Cheez Wiz has worked and recorded with Lil B the Basedgod, Ghostface Killah from Wu Tang, Mista Sinista, EDP and is currently working with DJ Mahalo to build and promote the Hip Hop culture here in Hawaii.
