While driving in his Toyota Tacoma in Hawaii, Cheez Wiz came up with the idea for Hella Choke Records. The word “Hella” is a common term for plenty, or abundant used commonly in Northern California. The word “Choke” in the local Hawaiian slang known as “Pigeon”, also means plenty or abundant. Combining these two terms from different regions to create something new and unique “Hella Choke!”.
DJ Cheez Wiz is the CEO and founder of Hella Choke Records.
