DJ Mahalo is a Bay Area–raised DJ, producer, and technologist whose career bridges hip hop, R&B, and innovation. Raised around both music and technology, Mahalo was influenced early by a family rooted in creative expression and Silicon Valley leadership. His journey led him to work in and around legendary studios and labels, and worked alongside iconic artists such as George Clinton, MC Hammer, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, E-40, Tony! Toni! Toné!, and En Vogue, while contributing to projects connected to Sony Entertainment, Ruthless Records, Tommy Boy Records, and more.

Beyond music, Mahalo brings over 30 years of IT and systems leadership, including serving as IT Manager for Sony Signatures on the Sony Pictures lot in Culver City. A lifelong martial artist and former ground coach at Zhong Luo’s DragonHouse MMA, as well as a motorcycle and community culture advocate, Mahalo’s work is grounded in discipline, purpose, and aloha. Through Hella Choke Enterprises, he continues to merge music, technology, and mentorship—focused on uplifting communities, supporting artists, and inspiring the next generation to realize what’s possible.
